My project Mk1 is a 1989 MR2 T-Bar in Helios Blue, purhcased in March 2006 with 60,600 miles.

The cars previous owner bought it in December 1997 as in investment, and did less that 5000 miles in that time. The car was in superb condition, with no rust at all and nothing ever repaired or restored. My private plate was quickly transferrerd to the car, along with my OZ Superleggera's and Momo steering wheel and gear knob.

It did have a crack in one side skirt, and there were a few scratches and stone chips, so as I could pick (small) faults with all the panels, I decided to have a full respray.
